Is Poker Planner free?

Yes. Creating sessions, inviting your team and voting are all free. Supporters on Patreon help cover the hosting costs, but they don't unlock extra features.

How many people can join a session?

Up to 32 people per session.

Why does everyone need an account?

Each vote belongs to a real person, so the room can show who has voted, the host can remove someone who joined by mistake, and nobody can vote twice. Signing up takes a minute with your email address or Google account.

Which voting scales are available?

A modified Fibonacci deck (0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 20, 40, 100, plus ∞, ? and a ☕ card for breaks) and T-shirt sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL and ?). You choose one when you create the session. Compare the scales.

Can other people see my vote before the reveal?

No. Everyone can see that you have voted, but not which card you chose, until the host reveals the votes.

How many stories can a session hold?

Up to 50 stories per session, and each account can have up to 50 sessions.

Can I get the estimates out of Poker Planner?

Yes. Export CSV in the story list downloads every story with its description, status and final estimate.

What does the coffee card mean?

It means "I need a break." It is shown with the other votes at the reveal but isn't counted in the average.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. Poker Planner runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone, with light and dark themes. There is nothing to install.

How do I delete my account and data?

Sign in, open your profile page and choose Delete my account. This permanently deletes your account and the sessions and stories you created. See the privacy policy for details.
